South West Acute Hospital is a local teaching hospital located in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland.

It is managed by Western Health and Social Care Trust.

The hospital was built to replace the Erne Hospital, and was opened by the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh on 21 June 2012.

[1] It was the first new hospital to be built in Northern Ireland for more than a decade, and was the first hospital in Northern Ireland with single ensuite rooms for every patient.

[5] The hospital is a university teaching hospital for both Queen's University Belfast and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
