Gardner is a town in Door County, Wisconsin, United States.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 1,197 people, 493 households, and 352 families residing in the town.

There were 966 housing units at an average density of 28.2 per square mile (10.9/km2).

There were 493 households, out of which 28.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 62.5% were married couples living together, 4.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.6% were non-families.

22.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
