Sovereign 28

[3][4] The design was built by Sovereign Yachts in the United States, starting in 1983, but it is now out of production.

[1][2][5][6] The Sovereign 28 is a recreational keelboat, built predominantly of fiberglass, with wood trim.

It has a cutter rig with a bowsprit, a center cockpit, a clipper bow, an angled transom, an internally mounted spade-type rudder controlled by a wheel and a fixed fin keel.

[1][2] The boat is fitted with a German BMW diesel engine for docking and maneuvering.

The head is located on the starboard side of the companionway and includes a shower.
