Sovetsky District (Russian: Сове́тский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[4] district (raion), one of the thirty-nine in Kirov Oblast, Russia.

It is located in the south of the oblast.

The area of the district is 2,411 square kilometers (931 sq mi).
