The Speedball 14 is an American sailing dinghy that was designed by W. Shad Turner and first built in 1980.
[1][2][3][4] The design was built by Laguna Yachts in the United States, starting in 1980, but it is now out of production.
[1][2][5][6] The Speedball 14 is a recreational sailboat, built predominantly of fiberglass.
It has a fractional sloop rig, a raked stem, a plumb transom, a transom-hung rudder controlled by a tiller and a retractable centerboard.
[1][2] The boat has a draft of 3.00 ft (0.91 m) with the centerboard extended and 4 in (10 cm) with it retracted, allowing operation in shallow water, beaching or ground transportation on a trailer.
