The replacement church, located in Langthwaite, was funded by George Brown, lord of the manor, and was completed in 1818.
[3] The church is built of rubble, with a slate roof.
It is in the Early English style, with a five-bay combined nave and chancel.
Inside, there is a west gallery, and two fonts - one original, and one dating from 1891.
The pews date from the late 19th century, while the pulpit and altar rail are original.
