Stanfield, North Carolina

Stanfield (English: /ˈstænfiːld/) is a town in Stanly County, North Carolina, United States.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 4.5 square miles (12 km2), all land.

As of the 2020 United States census, there were 1,585 people, 611 households, and 591 families residing in the town.

24.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

In 1912 the railroad line between Charlotte and Raleigh was completed, and the town of Stanfield was established.
