Stanley Kubrick Archive

[1] The Archive opened in October 2007 and contains material collected and owned by the film director Stanley Kubrick (1928–1999).

His films are: Fear and Desire, Killer's Kiss, The Killing, Paths of Glory, Spartacus, Lolita, Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb, 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange, Barry Lyndon, The Shining, Full Metal Jacket and Eyes Wide Shut.

He also played an important role in the conception of AI: Artificial Intelligence, although it was completed after his death by Steven Spielberg.

[3] The archive, prior to its donation to the university, is the subject of the documentary Stanley Kubrick's Boxes by Jon Ronson.

An internationally touring Stanley Kubrick exhibition (select dates between 2004-2022) included objects from the archive.
