Stapleton Township is one of twelve townships in Chickasaw County, Iowa, United States.
It is named for Thomas G. Staples, an early settler and local postmaster.
[1] Stapleton Township covers an area of 36.49 square miles (94.5 km2) and contains one incorporated settlement, Lawler.
According to the USGS, it contains six cemeteries: Lutheran, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Saint Johns, Saint Johns German Lutheran, Stapleton Township and Stapleton Township.
