Staré Těchanovice (German: Alt Zechsdorf) is a municipality and village in Opava District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic.

It has about 100 inhabitants.

Staré Těchanovice consists of two municipal parts (in brackets population according to the 2021 census):[2] The first written mention of Staré Těchanovice is from 1377.
