Starý Poddvorov is a municipality and village in Hodonín District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.
The first written mention of Starý Poddvorov is from 1704, when the local winemakers started to build houses here and received land in the area of the extinct village of Potvorov from the Jesuits.
After the Jesuit Order was abolished in 1773, the village became a part of the Hodonín estate in 1783.
