Stara Pazova (Serbian Cyrillic: Стара Пазова, pronounced [stâːraː pâzɔv̞a]; Slovak: Stará Pazova; Hungarian: Ópazova) is a small town located in the Srem District of the autonomous province of Vojvodina, Serbia.
The town has a population of 18,522, while Stara Pazova municipality has 62,318 inhabitants (2022 census).
According to the 1910 census, the population of the Stara Pazova municipality numbered 46,430 inhabitants, of whom 24,262 spoke Serbian, 9,348 German, 5,779 Slovak, and 5,670 Croatian.
After 1918, the town was part of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes and subsequent South Slavic states.
