Staufen, Aargau

Staufen is a municipality in the district of Lenzburg in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland.

Staufen has an area, as of 2009[update], of 3.57 square kilometres (1.38 sq mi).

Of the rest of the land, 0.95 km2 (0.37 sq mi) or 26.6% is settled (buildings or roads).

[7] The age distribution, as of 2008[update], in Staufen is: 268 children or 10.4% of the population are between 0 and 9 years old and 261 teenagers or 10.1% are between 10 and 19.

[7] In the 2007 federal election the most popular party was the SVP, which received 34.8% of the vote.
