Steam Corner is a small unincorporated settlement in Millcreek Township, Fountain County, Indiana.
A post office was established at Steam Corner in 1851, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1904.
The rail line was later operated by the Chicago and Eastern Illinois Railroad and ultimately the Chicago, Attica and Southern Railroad, which ran the line until its closure in the 1940s.
[citation needed] Steam Corner is located at the intersection of U.S. Route 41 and State Road 32 in Mill Creek Township, about five miles south of Veedersburg.
Prairie Creek begins northeast of Steam Corner and flows west to Coal Creek near the Wabash River.
