Stefán Vagn Stefánsson (born 17 January 1972) is an Icelandic politician.
He is a member of the Icelandic Parliament for the Progressive Party in the Northwest Constituency.
[1] His parents are Hrafnhildur Stefánsdóttir from Hjaltastöðum í Blönduhlíð in Skagafjörður and Stefán Sigurður Guðmundsson [is], a former member of the Icelandic Parliament from Sauðárkrókur.
[3] Stefán was elected to the municipal council of Skagafjörður in 2010 as the leader of the Progressive Party's list.
[4] In the spring of 2014, Stefán was appointed chairman of the government's Northwest Committee, which was intended to discuss ways to strengthen the economy and society in Northwest Iceland.
