Stephen James "Steve" Batchelor (born 22 June 1961) is an English former field hockey player.
Batchelor was a gold medal winning Great Britain squad member in the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, setting up Imran Sherwani in the final against West-Germany.
He also won silver with the England squad at the 1986 Hockey World Cup.
[1][2] Batchelor played international hockey for twelve years before retiring after the 1992 Summer Olympics.
He is head of admissions at Cranleigh School, and coaches the U14 boys and girls hockey teams.
