Steubenville Stampede

They played their home games at the St. John Arena in Steubenville, Ohio, United States.

The team began play in 2006 as an expansion member of the American Indoor Football League.

On March 4, 2006, the Stampede lost their inaugural home-opener 21–14 against the Johnstown Riverhawks, which became the lowest scoring game in the AIFL's two-year existence.

The Stampede were sold to Summit County Rumble owner Ramone Davenport in January 2007.

Finally, on June 28, 2007, the CIFL took over and ceased operations of the Steubenville and Summit County franchises.
