Strathallan was founded by Harry Riley in 1913, whose philosophy was to offer a uniquely wide-ranging curriculum of "opportunities for all to excel".
[citation needed] In 1920 the school then moved to its present-day campus in Forgandenny which spans 153 acres of rural Perthshire.
