Strattanville is a borough in Clarion County, Pennsylvania, United States.
[2] Originally laid out in 1828 by John Strattan Sr., Strattanville lays claim to be the oldest town in Clarion County.
Due to the political turmoil of the time, it was elected to erect a new, separate municipality to hold the county offices in Clarion, Pennsylvania only three miles away.
The original store owned by Mr. Strattan still stands at the southeastern corner of Market St. and Main St.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 0.51 square miles (1.31 km2), all land.
The racial makeup of the borough was 97.79% White, 0.92% African American, 0.37% Asian, and 0.92% from two or more races.
