Suomenmaa

Suomenmaa (Finnish pronunciation: [ˈsuo̯menˌmɑː]) is a Finnish language party newspaper published four days a week from Tuesday to Friday in Oulu, Finland.

The newspaper was established in 1908 as Maakansa in Viipuri[1] to support the Agrarian League.

[3][4] Apart from Suomenmaa, the publisher Joutsen Media[4] owns Oulu, Koillissanomat (1986-),[1] Iijokiseutu, Rantalakeus (1976-)[1] as well as Kolmiokirjan (1981-),[1] Regina magazine and many cross word magazines.

[2] Its local edition was published five times a week[2] in the Northern Bothnia until the end of 2009.
