Surafel Dagnachew Mengistu (Amharic: ሱራፌል ዳኛቸው; born 11 September 1997) is an Ethiopian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for USL Championship club Loudoun United and the Ethiopia national team.

[1][2] Surafel began his professional career with Adama City and made his debut in the 2016–17 Ethiopian Premier League season.

On 5 June 2024, Surafel joined Loudoun United from Fasil Kenema with a one-year contract.

On 25 December 2021, he was named to Ethiopia's 25 man squad for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
