Surry (formerly Cross Roads, McIntosh's Cross Roads, McIntoshs Cross Roads, Scuffletown, Smithville, Surry Court House, and The Crossroads)[5] is an incorporated town in Surry County, Virginia, United States.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.8 square miles (2.1 km2), all of it land.

There were 119 housing units at an average density of 147.0 per square mile (56.7/km2).

24.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 8.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

About 10.8% of families and 10.7% of the population were below the poverty line, including 13.3% of those under the age of eighteen and 5.0% of those 65 or over.
