The company is located in Jakarta, Indonesia and specializes in manufacturing Suzuki vehicles for the domestic and international markets.

Suzuki's first activities in the Indonesian market in 1970 were through its import firm PT Indohero Steel & Engineering Company.

Six years later Suzuki built a manufacturing facility, which is the oldest part of the Indomobil Group.
