Sweden was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 1984 with the song "Diggi-Loo Diggi-Ley", composed by Torgny Söderberg, with lyrics by Britt Lindeborg, and performed by Herreys.

The Swedish participating broadcaster, Sveriges Television (SVT), selected its entry through Melodifestivalen 1984.

The entry eventually won the Eurovision Song Contest.

Sweden was the first country to perform the Eurovision Song Contest that year.
