Switzerland in the Eurovision Song Contest 1968

The Swiss Broadcasting Corporation (SRG SSR) held a national final on 27 January 1968 at 21:30 CET in a television studio in Paradiso, Lugano.

[1] The final was broadcast by TV DRS, TSR (with commentary by Georges Hardy [fr]), and TSI.

Six artists took part to represent Switzerland: Bea Abrecht [de], Charles Level [fr], Gianni Mascolo, Irène Berthier, Paola del Medico, and Ricky Gianco.

[4] The winner was Gianni Mascolo, with the song "Guardando il sole", written by Aldo D'Addario and composed by Sanzio Chiesa.

It is also reported that "Il n'y a pas trente-six façons" by Charles Level [fr] was favored by the Ticinese jury.
