Szentendre (Hungarian: Szentendrei járás) is a district in north-western part of Pest County.

The district is located in the Central Hungary Statistical Region.

Besides the Hungarian majority, the main minorities are the German (approx.

2,500), Slovak (1,100), Roma (1,000), Serb (450), Romanian (300), Russian and Polish (150), Croat (100).

2,500 persons in Szentendre District did not declare their ethnic group at the 2011 census.
