Těchobuz is a municipality and village in Pelhřimov District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.
Těchobuz became the centre of a small estate and the importance of the village and the local fortress grew.
Other important owners of Těchobuz included the knight Václav Otta of Los, who had a belfry built here in 1603, and the Adler family, who founded a glassworks in the mid-18th century.
The former fortress was completely rebuilt into this late Baroque castle in 1786–1798, later Neoclassical modifications were made.
[5] The Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk with mortuary was built in the Empire style in 1826.
