Tabanac (French pronunciation: [tabanak]; Occitan: Tavanac) is a commune in the Gironde department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France.
The centre (Le Bourg) of the commune of Tabanac is very picturesque and contains the church (built in 1874), the Mairie, local school, Chateau Renon (now a private house and not connected to the vineyard of the same name) and local housing.
The small size of the Borg means that there are no shops or restaurants.
In addition to the Borg there are numerous hamlets in the commune such as Dourcy, Rouquet and others.
There are also gites of which Chateau Sentout, built in the 17th century, is the largest.
