Taitā railway station

The station is located on the Hutt Valley section of the Wairarapa Line, 20.6 km (12.8 mi) north of Wellington.

The station is served by Metlink's electric multiple unit trains of the "Matangi" FP class.

Until July 2014, a signal box on the upper level of the station building was responsible for switching the Taitā crossovers during peak-hour operation.

Over the weekend of 19–20 July 2014, the signal box was decommissioned and the switching function moved to Train Control in central Wellington.
