Tantillita

Tantillita is a genus of snakes in the family Colubridae.

[1] Nota bene: A binomial authority or a trinomial authority in parentheses indicates that the species or the subspecies, respectively, was originally described in a genus other than Tantillita.

The specific name, lintoni, is in honor of American archeologist Linton Satterthwaite.

[2] The subspecific name, rozellae, is in honor of American herpetologist Rozella Blood Smith, wife of American herpetologist Hobart Muir Smith.

[2] All species in the genus Tantillita are oviparous.
