After Roddick, Benhabiles coached Richard Gasquet (until January 2004), Tatiana Golovin (in 2006), Benjamin Becker, and Vania King.

In November 2023, he coached junior grand slam semi-finalist Arthur Gea to his maiden tournament victory as a pro.
