Tarnov is a village in Platte County, Nebraska, United States.
[4] A large share of the early settlers being natives of Tarnów, Poland, caused the name to be selected.
[5] A post office was established at Tarnov in 1891, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1969.
The B-17s, from the Sioux City, Iowa, Army Air Field, did little damage and no one was injured or killed.
