Tatarsky District (Russian: Тата́рский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[4] district (raion), one of the thirty in Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia.

The area of the district is 4,870 square kilometers (1,880 sq mi).

[1] The town of Tatarsk serves as its administrative center,[1] despite being incorporated separately as an administrative unit with the status equal to that of the districts.

[6] As a municipal division, the district is incorporated as Tatar Municipal District, with the Town of Tatarsk being incorporated within it as Tatarsk Urban Settlement.
