Taylorsville is a census-designated place (CDP) in German Township, Bartholomew County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.

It is part of the Columbus, Indiana metropolitan statistical area.

[7] According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.0 square mile (2.6 km2), all land.

As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 936 people, 356 households and 280 families residing in the CDP.

19.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
