Taylorsville is a census-designated place (CDP) in German Township, Bartholomew County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.
It is part of the Columbus, Indiana metropolitan statistical area.

As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 936 people, 356 households and 280 families residing in the CDP.
