Teatro de la República

Teatro de la República (literally, Theater of the Republic) is a theater in the historic center of the city of Querétaro, México.

[1] In 1867, the trial of Maximilian I of Mexico was held in the theater.

[2] The theater would gain its current name after hosting the drafting of the Mexican constitution in 1917.
