Tekačevo (pronounced [tɛˈkaːtʃɛʋɔ], in older sources Takačevo,[2] German: Takatschevo[2]) is a settlement in the Municipality of Rogaška Slatina in eastern Slovenia.

The railway line from Celje to Rogaška Slatina runs through the settlement.

The wider area around Rogaška Slatina is part of the traditional region of Styria.

[4] On 4 March 1997, a never resolved mass murder, considered the worst or one of the worst murders in independent Slovenia, happened in Tekačevo.
