As a gold medallist at the 2023 Pacific Games in Honiara, Solomon Islands, he qualified to represent Australia in the super-heavyweight event at the 2024 Summer Olympics.

In the quarter-finals, he faced Uzbek Bakhodir Jalolov, the reigning Olympic champion, losing the match 5–0.
