Targavar Rural District (Persian: دهستان ترگور)[3] is in Silvaneh District of Urmia County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.

[5] The district was home to a significant Assyrian population before the Assyrian genocide, but is mostly populated by Herki Kurds today.

[6][7][8] At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 7,893 in 1,344 households.

[10] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 8,381 in 1,862 households.
