Terhi Eveliina Mertanen (born 4 April 1981) is a Finnish retired ice hockey defenceman and current head coach of TPS Naiset in the Naisten Liiga.
[1] She was a member of the Finnish national ice hockey team for thirteen seasons and won bronze medals in the women's ice hockey tournament at the 2010 Winter Olympics and at the IIHF Women's World Championships in 2004 and 2011.
Mertanen developed in the youth system of Jokipojat in her hometown of Joensuu, North Karelia, in western Finland.
With ZSC she won a silver medal at the 2012 IIHF European Women's Champions Cup.
