Termen is a municipality in the district of Brig in the canton of Valais in Switzerland.
[3] Termen has an area, as of 2011[update], of 18.8 square kilometers (7.3 sq mi).
It consists of the village of Termen, the hamlets of Hasel and z'Matt and the ski resort of Rosswald.
The blazon of the municipal coat of arms is Argent, two Swords Sable in saltire.
[4] Most of the population (as of 2000[update]) speaks German (743 or 95.1%) as their first language, Albanian is the second most common (11 or 1.4%) and French is the third (10 or 1.3%).

In the federal election, a total of 382 votes were cast, and the voter turnout was 61.4%.

[4] There were 345 residents of the municipality who were employed in some capacity, of which females made up 36.8% of the workforce.
In the tertiary sector; 4 or 12.9% were in wholesale or retail sales or the repair of motor vehicles, 14 or 45.2% were in a hotel or restaurant, 1 was the insurance or financial industry, 2 or 6.5% were technical professionals or scientists, 5 or 16.1% were in education.
[4] From the 2000 census[update], 689 or 88.2% were Roman Catholic, while 38 or 4.9% belonged to the Swiss Reformed Church.
The education system in the Canton of Valais allows young children to attend one year of non-obligatory Kindergarten.
All the lower secondary students from Termen attend their school in a neighboring municipality.
