"Better Things to Do" was released in July 1995 and proved to be a hit, reaching number 3 on both the US and Canadian country charts.
Follow-ups "When Boy Meets Girl" and "If I Were You" were also successful, with the latter becoming Clark's first number one single on the RPM Country Tracks chart.
Terri Clark has sold one million copies in the United States as of 2012.
