Tess Gunty (born 1993) is an American novelist.
[2][3][4][5] Gunty was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana.
[1][6] She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts in English and from New York University with a Masters in Fine Arts degree in creative writing.
[9][3] It received generally favorable reviews from critics.
[10][11] The novel also received the inaugural Waterstones Debut Fiction Prize.
