Thamnosophis stumpffi, commonly known as the yellow-striped water snake, is a species of snake in the subfamily Pseudoxyrhophiinae of the family Pseudoxyrhophiidae.
The specific name, stumpffi, is in honor of Anton Stumpff who collected the holotype.
