[1][2] He formed a country and rock music group, Agents, in 1980 with Lindy Allen on bass guitar, James McIntyre on keyboards and Robin Walsh on drums.

Further lineup changes included the return of James McIntyre (guitar), Kim Knight (bass) and Dennis Flannery (drums).
