The Last U-Boat

The Last U-Boat (German: Das letzte U-Boot) is a 1993 German television film directed by Frank Beyer, starring Ulrich Mühe and Ulrich Tukur, and scored by Oskar Sala.

The film is loosely based on the true story of the German submarine U-234’s first and only mission into enemy or contested territory, to Japan, in the closing days of World War II.

In 2010 the film was distributed in Germany on DVD by Pandastorm Pictures GmbH.
