The Silent Invasion

The Silent Invasion is a1962 British second feature ('B')[1] film directed by Max Varnel and starring Eric Flynn and Petra Davies.

During WW II, a German garrison is stationed in the small French town of Mereux.

French local Maria falls in love with German captain Eric Von Strafen.

However, the romance comes to an abrupt end when her brother, a saboteur working for the Resistance, is killed.

The Monthly Film Bulletin wrote: "Glumly unconvincing wartime melodrama, resurrected for no evident reason after six years on the shelf.
