The Swiss Army Romance is the debut studio album by American band Dashboard Confessional, released in March 2000 by Fiddler Records.
It was released through Fiddler Records in March 2000,[2] limited to 1,000 copies.
A decision was made shortly afterwards to sell the album to Drive-Thru Records.
The re-release was spurred by the rising popularity of the band and the announcement of the then upcoming album A Mark, a Mission, a Brand, a Scar.
The album was included in Rock Sound's 101 Modern Classics list at number 100.
