The Trip to Marrakesh (German: Die Reise nach Marrakesch) is a 1949 West German drama film directed by Richard Eichberg and starring Luise Ullrich, Maria Holst and Karl Ludwig Diehl.
[1] It was Eichberg's last film and his first in a decade, having spend time abroad since his two part Indian-set The Tiger of Eschnapur.
The film is based on a play Le voyage à Marrakech by the French writer Benno Vigny.
It was made at the Bavaria Studios in Munich, with sets designed by the art directors Willi Herrmann and Heinrich Weidemann.
