Liu Bei and other warlords from various countries run through the turbulent times, and eventually the Battle of Red Cliffs occurs where the overwhelming difference in military strength between the Wei army of 800,000 and the combined forces of Shu and Wu of 30,000 clashes.

[8][9] The film had its premiere at Lux Cinema in Taipei on December 10, 2020,[7] and opened in Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan on the next day.

[16] On December 10, Yo Oizumi, Tsuyoshi Muro, Takanori Iwata, Kento Kaku, Shun Oguri and director Yuichi Fukuda attended an online event on the eve of the release of the film.
