"There's a Tear in My Beer" is a country song written by Hank Williams and recorded by "Big Bill" Lister, which was later re-recorded by his son in 1988.

The original version was written by Hank Williams during one of his Nashville sessions in 1950-51, but his publisher and producer Fred Rose was averse to mentioning alcohol in songs.
